WPPI Energy plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.

WPPI Energy maintains two plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) as part of its fleet. These were the first two PHEVs in Wisconsin; they have now been joined by member fleet vehicles and others as interest in the technology grows rapidly. As these cars travel around the state and beyond on routine business, they build awareness of the technology and encourage others to support the development of PHEVs.

Our fleet also includes two standard hybrid electric cars. Increased acceptance of technologies that reduce the use of traditional fuels could dramatically reduce harmful emissions in the future, particularly once PHEVs become commercially available.
